PetWasteHQ legal
Terms of Service
These terms describe business responsibilities when using PetWasteHQ, accepting payments, and publishing hosted customer pages. They should be reviewed by an attorney as the service expands.
Software use
Businesses use PetWasteHQ to manage their own customers, staff, scheduling, public quote pages, billing, and hosted sites. Each business remains responsible for the services it sells, the customer relationships it manages, and the accuracy of the data it enters.
Stripe fees and payment costs
When a business enables Stripe through PetWasteHQ, that business is responsible for all Stripe fees, payment processing fees, payment network costs, refunds, chargebacks, disputes, reversals, negative balances, penalties, taxes, and related costs caused by or connected to that business, its customers, its transactions, or its connected Stripe account.
If Stripe or another payment provider charges PetWasteHQ for any of those amounts, the business agrees that PetWasteHQ may pass those amounts through, invoice them, offset them against amounts owed, or otherwise recover them from the business. The business agrees to reimburse PetWasteHQ for payment costs, dispute amounts, chargeback amounts, negative balances, and related fees that PetWasteHQ pays or incurs because of that business.
PetWasteHQ may pause payment features, payouts, account access, hosted sites, or related services when payment provider requirements are incomplete, when a balance is unpaid, or when risk, fraud, compliance, or dispute activity requires review.
Customer billing and service disputes
Businesses are responsible for their own pricing, quotes, invoices, service terms, missed-visit policies, cancellation policies, refunds, customer notices, and any promises made to their customers. PetWasteHQ provides software tools and does not become the service provider for the business's customers.
Provider terms
Use of Stripe or any other connected provider is also subject to that provider's own agreements, documentation, onboarding requirements, risk reviews, and compliance requirements. A business must keep its provider account information accurate and current.
Changes
PetWasteHQ may update these terms as the software, provider requirements, or business model changes. Continued use after an update means the business accepts the updated terms.
